2008 Band Camp Rules and Regulations
All school rules are
in effect throughout Band Camp
ALL Students must sign in each morning.
ALL students must sign out each afternoon.
No one is permitted to leave campus for ANY reason.
NO SMOKING, LIQUOR, DRUGS
NO FOOD ORDERS/DELIVERIES
NO WATER GUNS
NO HORSEPLAY
Polite to all Directors and Staff
Polite to all Chaperones
NO VULGAR TAPES/CD’S
NO VULGAR LANGUAGE AT ANY TIME
All school rules are in effect throughout Band Camp
Members should ONLY be in the designated areas of the campus.
Pack an adequate lunch!
Drink and Snack machines will be available for use.
Eat breakfast before arriving for practice each day.
Drink plenty of liquids (NOT MILK) and eat foods rich in
potassium
Wear a hat or visor. These are REQUIRED.
Wear sunblock to EVERY practice.
Wear shorts and cool tops (Light colors promote cooler bodies.)
NO cut-offs shirts
Shirts or hats that promote alcohol or tobacco are not
permitted.
Shorts or Pants with logos or writing on the behind are not
permitted.
Socks and tennis shoes are required for all marching rehearsals.
Make sure you have your DOT BOOK!
Have a pencil for ALL rehearsals.
Make sure you have back-up reeds, sticks and valve oil.
Chapellettes: Make sure you bring your practice flags.
In case of rain, we will have rehearsals indoors.
Make arrangements for transportation to and from rehearsals in
advance. Please
make sure that your ride is on time.
Get a good night’s sleep before each rehearsal.
If you DO NOT have your hat,
instrument, music, pencil and dot book each day, you will be
placed on detail.
