Senior Christian Leadership Workshop
Christian Leadership
Workshop is held every spring for selected juniors who will be
members of the new senior class. Participation is by invitation and
selection is made by faculty recommendation of students. Those on
probation are not eligible for recommendation. Those selected to
receive invitations are students who are influential in the class
and are willing to give of themselves to help guide the senior class
and the underclassman toward behavior and attitudes which conform
with our Catholic-Christian attitudes and beliefs.
Topics addressed include areas of
assertive behaviors that help students to stand up against peer
pressure and to help others to stand up for what is right. Students
learn to identify and capitalize on the positive aspects of each
individual in order to help affirm each senior. Faculty members meet
with these seniors several times over the summer for follow-up and
support.
