Jazz Band

This ensemble meets once a week in the afternoons from 3-5 PM and is open to any member of the Honors Advanced Band Winds and Honors Advanced Band Percussion classes who meets the audition requirements. Auditions are held in late September. The Jazz Band performs at the Christmas and spring concerts, student activities, contests and community functions. This ensemble will stress the performance of jazz literature and improvisation along with improving music reading and jazz theory skills. All music classes are held in the Christopher Segari Memorial Music Building.
