Library Club
The objectives of the
Archbishop Rummel Library Club are to increase student interest and
participation in library work, to promote friendship between club
members, and to stimulate interest in reading, computers, and the
evaluation of information from various sources.
Students from grades eighth through twelve are eligible for
membership. These students check out / in materials on the OPAC
computer, re-shelve items, and help keep the library clean and
organized.
Club members must work a minimum of 36 hours during the school
year to earn a yearly participants award. Each year an outstanding
member can be chosen and his name will be inscribed on a plaque
displayed n the library. The students with the most service hours
about the minimum can earn a trophy.
