Trebuchet Shooters


Students in Mr. John Charles’ physics classes demonstrated their home-built trebuchets outside the Field House this week.  Each physics class was divided into teams that did research, collected data, and reported their findings to the class.  Participation included firing a tennis ball along a tape measure.  The winning trebuchet team fired the greatest distance and was closest to the tape.  Physics teacher, Mr. Charles, said the 1000 year old trebuchet is one of three major projects demonstrated by his students.
