"Al Ferry of Metairie teaches eighth- and ninth-grade English at Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie. He also has taught French. Ferry has been a teacher for 35 years, 22 at Rummel. He has a bachelor of science in secondary education and French from Spring Hill College in Alabama and a master's in English from the University of New Orleans. He also has a juris doctor from Loyola Law School. He is moderator of Mock Trial, edits the Top 20 freshman stories and encourages his students to give him their best." Times-Picayune (07-09-06)
