Rummel alum Thomas Diamond, ’01
            “Do what you feel is right and chase your dreams with all your efforts.”  So says Archbishop Rummel alum Thomas Diamond, ’01, who offers advice to aspiring Raider baseball players.  He continued, “If you think you can achieve something, then you will.”
            And Diamond is speaking from experience.  Last year he was drafted tenth overall by the Texas Rangers and received a healthy signing bonus.
            Since signing with the Rangers, he first went to Spokane, WA, for a short A ball season before he was sent to Clinton, IA.  He said that this past spring he was called up for Big League Spring Training in Surprise, AZ.  In Arizona he pitched against the Seattle Mariners for two innings.
