Challenge
Since 1985 the student
bodies at Archbishop
Rummel and Archbishop
Chapelle have competed
in various events at the
annual Rummel-Chapelle
Challenge. This past
Tuesday evening the two
schools met again and
the evening concluded
with a tie-breaker
event, the famed egg
toss that the Raiders
won. Other winning
events for the Raiders
were the hippity hop,
the four-legged race,
and varsity volleyball.
Chipmunk victories came
in junior varsity
volleyball, ladder and
balloon, and ping pong
swap. Immediately after
the Raider egg toss win,
both schools’ Student
Councils met at mid
court for the annual
“pie in the face” to the
losing team. For the
second consecutive year,
the Raiders delivered
pies to the Chapelle
Chipmunks.
