Raider Baseball

On Saturday the Raider baseball team topped the Jesuit Blue Jays via the 10-run rule, 13-3.  In the game the Raiders' Ryan Pursell belted a grand slam to cap a seven-run third inning.  Winning pitcher for the Raiders was senior Michael Wisecarver, who allowed just four hits for the Blue Jays.  The Raiders are now sporting a 2-0 district record and will face the Brother Martin Crusaders, also 2-0, on Friday at the UNO diamond.  Game time is 6 PM.

On March 17th, several members of Operation HeadStart and Youth Rebuilding New Orleans attended the New Orleans Hornets vs Chicago Bulls basketball game in the arena. The Brown Foundation gave both organizations tickets for t members that worked in service learning activities. Matt Fury, Ryan LeGuluche , and their friend, Natalie,  enjoy the exciting game seeing the Hornets come back in the last seven minutes. We would like to thank the Brown Foundation for their very kind gesture and for supporting our service learning activities. Click for the picture.
