Raider Scholars

On  Monday thirty-four incoming eighth and ninth graders received academic scholarships to Archbishop Rummel High School for the next four or five years.  The students received the grants because of their scores on the placement test they completed in early January.  Their scores and grammar school report cards earned them academic scholarships. On Monday the honorees and their families were given the scholarships by Mr. Michael Scalco, principal.  The program included a welcome from Mr. Michael Begg, president, and comments from assistant principal, Mr. John Gabriel.  The evening ended with refreshments in the Raider Room.
