Raider Auction
'08
The
annual
Archbishop
Rummel school
wide auction was
another success,
as many parents,
alumni, and
friends of the
school packed
the ballroom in
the Hilton New
Orleans
Riverside Hotel
last Saturday
night.
Organized by Mr.
Kirk Maronge,
community
relations
director, and
Mr. and Mrs. Lou
Reynolds, ’74,
chair couple,
the auction’s
theme was “Rufus
Shoots for the
Stars.” The
evening began
with a 6 PM
Patron Party
before the 7 PM
kickoff of the
auction. All
night silent
bargains were
had at one of
the many silent
auction tables.
About midway
through the
evening, those
attending could
bid on great
verbal auction
items. The
evening
concluded with
dancing to the
music of Chuck
Stiebing and the
Moonlighters.

Band Announces Spring
Concert: The Archbishop
Rummel HS Band Department
will be presenting its 2008
Spring Concert on Tuesday,
April 29, 2008 at 7pm in the
ARHS gym. The Concert bands,
Jazz Bands, and percussion
ensembles will be performing
a variety of music. No
