On Saturday August 18,  members  from Archbishop Rummel's Operation HeadStart made a check presentation to Ms. Lee Ann Matherne, director of the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, as a donation from the organization's summer car wash. They made the presentation at the shelter's Adoption Day at the PETCO in Kenner. The donation will be used for spaying and neutering programs, as well as to organize more Adoption Days to help homeless dogs and cats find good homes
