Breakfast with Santa

 On Sunday, December 2nd, over 100 Raider families spent the morning at the 3rd Annual Breakfast with Santa.  The children and their families were treated to a continental breakfast, along with crafts, Disney characters and story telling.  Each family also received a photo with Santa.  The event is sponsored by the Archbishop Rummel High School Alumni Association in conjunction with Operation Headstart

NEW Mr. Ferry's 9th grade Religion classes presented projects based on the books of Genesis and Exodus in class today.  The students worked in groups and had the option of producing a model, a children's storybook, or a newspaper based on events in those books.  Some of the groups went above and beyond.  Notable projects were two beautiful replicas of the Ark of the Covenant, one the actual size of the historical Ark and one incredibly detailed Ark.  Both contained the tablets of the Ten Commandments.  The students have enjoyed seeing the talent of their classmates on display.  Click here to see all the projects.
 
From Jefferson Parish Schools

When parents and students log in to Edline, they will notice a new link entitled “Announcements.”   Posted will be a document containing announcements and a two week time span of activities.  Archbishop Rummel High School will also be using Edline to send important and sometime urgent messages to parents and students via e-mail. more......
