The Story of Kenneth
J. Bossetta
Kenneth J. Bossetta was a former Rummel student from
the class of ‘66. He was killed in an accident while
attending LSU. His brother Patrick Bossetta donated a
large sum of money to the library for renovations in
memory of his brother.
The library has eighteen
networked Windows XP computers with CD-ROMs for
student use. All computers are networked to laser
printers. Two computers have CD writers and two are
linked to scanners and color printers. Programs, such
as, the library's OPAC, Microsoft Word, Power Point,
Internet Explorer, Reading Counts, SRI, Geometry
Sketchpad, Excel, and Front Page are available on each
of the student computers. The ARHS library is fully
automated. Through Internet Explorer, students can
access K-12 databases (Infotrac and World Book)
provided from the Louisiana State Department of
Education, as-well-as, those provided by the ARHS
library.
