Parent Pride Fund
The Parent Pride Fund provides an opportunity for parents to express their support of the positive improvement and growth that has already energized the Archbishop Rummel High School community.  It is also a clear demonstration of their Raider Pride to our students, our teachers, and the broader community.  It speaks loudly that the mission of Archbishop Rummel High School is alive and thriving.  Most importantly at this time, a gift to the Parent Pride Fund will help insure student academic success by maintaining inspired professionals.  The call to action is to attract and retain excellent educators.  If the school is unable to attract and retain quality teachers, its ability to meet its goals becomes a crucial challenge. 

To continue the momentum, parents are asked to return the Parent Pride Fund pledge card before the drive’s completion date of December 8th.  Parents can help keep the momentum going by completing and returning the pledge card at whatever financial level they are able to afford.

Tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of educating our students.  Archbishop Rummel High School has always been committed to maintaining reasonable and affordable tuition, so much so that its tuition and fees remain among the lowest in the New Orleans area.  Our tuition covers only 67% of the cost of an Archbishop Rummel High School education.  The Parent Pride Fund serves as a necessary source of direct support for the school’s annual operating budget by making up the difference between the $5,670 in tuition and the $8,466 it actually costs to educate each Archbishop Rummel student.

The money raised by the Parent Pride Fund goes directly to funding teacher salaries.  Archbishop Rummel High School needs to continue to attract and retain the best educators for its students – to continue to make teachers seek out an opportunity to teach at Rummel and to retain the best educators in the area.

Parents are encouraged to give what they reasonably can; parents’ investment together at Archbishop Rummel High School will be far greater than anything anyone can achieve individually.  Pledge cards were mailed home on October 17th.  It can be directly returned to the school; or the card can be completed online and contributions can be made online at www.rummelraiders.com.
