objectives of the Archbishop Rummel Library Club are to increase pupil interest and
participation in information work, to promote friendship and cooperation between
information specialists and library club members throughout the community, and to
stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and evaluating information. Students from grades eight through twelve are eligible for membership. These students check out materials, reshelve items, process magazines and newspapers, and assist students with research and word processing. Club members must work a minimum of 36 hours during the school year to earn a yearly participation award. Each year an outstanding member is chosen and his name is inscribed on a plaque displayed in the library. In addition, the students with the most service hours is given a trophy.
