| Louisiana
law requires that a student earn a minimum of two credits in
physical education. The purpose of the Physical Education
Department is to provide an opportunity for optimum physical,
mental, emotional, and social growth and the development of
the individual student through his participation in the
physical education program. It is the aim of the department
to provide, where possible, lifetime sports for the students
to engage in that will have some carryover value and possibly
be used in fulfillment of leisure time. |
