Baseball
This Nationally recognized program is rich in winning traditions at both the district and state level. In the fall and winter, baseball athletes participate in an extensive training program, which includes weightlifting, plyometric drills, speed training, cardiovascular conditioning, and agility enhancement drills. Varsity baseball begins in early January and concludes in early May with playoff competition. The Junior Varsity, Freshmen, and 8th grade teams begin with tryouts in mid-January and play a full schedule, which concludes in mid-April. During the summer, Varsity players compete in the nationally franchised American Legion Baseball, which concludes in early August. The Junior Varsity players compete in Pre-Prep and the Junior High School player compete in Metro Baseball.
