This past Saturday, the Archbishop Rummel powerlifters participated in the 2010 LHSPLA JV State Powerlifting Meet at Walker High School in Walker, LA. The Raiders had seven powerlifters compete in this meet. They are as follows: Nicolas Andrews – 8th Grader; Evan Bonano – 8th Grader; James Cavalero – Freshman; Harrison McNab – Senior; Zachary Musso – Freshman; Nicholas Trahan – Freshman; and Andre Trosclair – 8th Grader.

Evan Bonano – 8th Grader was the only place finisher at 5th Place in his weight class. The Raiders also have two lifters that have qualified to compete in the 2010 Boys Division I State Powerlifting Championship on Saturday, March 13, at Central High School in Central, LA. The two lifters are Michael Lobre – Junior and David Stano – Senior.
