Father/Son Road Rally
On Saturday, March 11, fathers and sons converged on the Raider campus for the annual Father/Son Road Rally. Consisting of a scavenger hunt, competitions, and a full spread of food, the father son teams began the afternoon with strategies and game play. The teams were given 2.5 hours and were sent all across Jefferson Parish to complete over 50 tasks needing video and photo proof of their tasks. This year, a best costume contest was added with the $100 prize going to the winners. As the teams returned to campus, a full spread of food was there waiting for them thanks to title sponsor Deanie's Seafood and Mr. Keith Chifici '89 along with Corner Cafe and La Bella's. In the end, all of the father son teams made memories with many fun videos and photos to remember their evening. The Father/Son Road Rally is the idea and creation of Mr. Scott Burgess '89 and Mr. Brian Bairnsfather '89, with organization and task creation by Ms. Amanda Reed, and Ms. Chante Burgess. The Parent Club is moderated by Mr. Joseph Serio.
