The Archbishop Rummel High School Alumni Association exists to support, maintain and assist in furthering the mission of Archbishop Rummel High School by the fostering of loyalty and fellowship of the school’s graduates.
As the school strides aggressively towards the future, the leadership of Archbishop Rummel High School is committed to providing an opportunity to those who love their school to connect with one another, the campus, and the community through involvement in its alumni association. Today, the Alumni Association has over 11,000 members, with more than 6,000 remaining in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
The aspiration is for each of alumnus to relive the passion he once felt for this great institution.
The Alumni Association would like to invite each alumnus to campus to see “first hand” the improvements made to the classrooms and buildings.
Each new school year offers opportunities to get involved at Archbishop Rummel. The association is always looking for volunteers to help at many events. If interested, please check the event list and advise the level of participation. As always, the easiest way to get back to each alum’s roots is to attend one of the many events that are held that build community.
Sincerely,
Darryl L. Roule, Jr. ‘87
Director of Alumni Relations

Decade Chairs & Class Representatives
To involve alumni in the operations of the Alumni Office and to inform them about the needs of the school, the Alumni Office has formed a core group of Decade Chairmen that will provide feedback to the school on a regular basis.
Each chair will represent his decade in meetings and with opinions and they are John Bono, ’69; Ken Trahan, ’75; Pat Kennedy, ’83; Matthew Treuting, ’99; and Brandon Lafon, ’04.
“Each alum is committed to representing his decade of alumni until June, 2012. Their primary goal is to work with the class reps in his decade. The decade chairs will also serve as chairpersons for the upcoming Class Call during the Alumni Pride Fund campaign,” said Darryl Roule, ’87, alumni director, who will meet with the decade chairmen every other month.
The Decade Chairmen will work with Class Reps who will represent each of the years in their decade of graduates. Some classes will have multiple reps and their main responsibility is to facilitate information to and from Archbishop Rummel
Roule added, “We’re hoping that these class representatives will keep the Alumni Office informed of alumni careers, births, special recognitions, and individual honors.”
Anyone interested in representing his class as a class representative should contact Darryl Roule at droule@rummelraiders.com or at 504-834-5592, Ext. 232
“Class leaders are vital in the Archbishop Rummel community in that they foster the connection of their classmates to each other and the connection between their class and the school,” he explained.
Alumni who also wish to help make phone calls during the upcoming Alumni Pride Raider Call should contact the Alumni Office at Archbishop Rummel.
