Please pray for Kenneth Joseph Fritscher and family. Kenneth’s father passed away on January 10, 2012 at his home in the afternoon. He was 80 years old. His father is Joseph Robert Fritscher Jr. and was buried on Saturday January 14,2012.
December 10, 2011 1969 Rummel graduate Gary Silva, who has been in a nursing home for approx five to six years, was hospitalized last Tues. — Nov. 29 — with a kidney infection. While in the hospital, Gary suffered a mild stroke. According to his sister, Cathy Melancon, Gary is doing better and may be discharged by the end of the week. Also, about three months ago, while in the nursing home, Gary had a seizure and has been unable to get around without the assistance of a walker or wheelchair.

Matt passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011, at the age of 24. — The father of Doug Robert, ’68. Doug wrote, “My dad, John A. Robert, died on August 27. He was a WWII veteran in northern Europe and a founding member of St. Benilde and St. Edward parishes. I remember setting up the chairs for Sunday Mass in the gym before the churches were built.”
