On the last day of school before departing for the Mardi Gras holidays, members of the Raider Marching Band trekked the short distance to St. Benilde Grammar School to lead their annual Krewe of Rainbow Mardi Gras parade. Following the color guard, the band made several laps around the school yard as excited kindergarten students tossed beads from their Mardi Gras-decorated wagons. A large crowd of family members encouraged the young riders as they rode around the school yard tossing the coveted beads to the excited onlookers.
