Operation HeadStart continued its program of service summits with other Lasallian schools in the country. For their third venture, the group travelled out to Pasadena, CA, to work with students from LaSalle High School. On Day 1, the students from both schools volunteered at a “Think Together” program for at-risk elementary school children to help them learn lessons on the marsh lands and wet lands. On Day 2, the students toured a Franciscan homeless center in the “Skid Row” area of Los Angeles. They were shown around downtown Los Angeles, and finished the day with a visit to the Getty Art Museum. The Operation HeadStart members on the trip were Zack Bernard, Matt Brennan, Taylor Lanson, Chris Costanza, James Cavalero, Chris Villafranco, Michael Kennedy, and Tyler Mire.
