Raider-Lasallian Ministry Team
Assisting the campus minister in building Archbishop Rummel High School’s faith community is the students’ Raider- Lasallian Ministry Team. During their sophomore through their senior year, the students who express an interest in becoming a member of this team must complete an interview process which demonstrates their commitment to putting their faith into action.
These students work with the campus minister in planning and facilitating retreats, all school liturgies, prayer experiences, campus ministry evenings, and faith sharing rallies/discussion groups. The Raider- Lasallian Ministers also team with other Lasallian ministry teams in the area to publicize and represent Lasallian youth at various high school events sponsored by the New Orleans Archdiocese.
Eucharistic Ministers
The members of the Raider-Lasallian Ministry Team who are seniors have the privilege of serving the Archbishop Rummel High School community as Eucharistic Ministers. In this capacity, during both the all school and daily masses, these students distribute Holy Communion to the students and faculty. Before serving as Eucharistic Ministers, these seniors must complete a workshop presented by the Office of Worship of the Archdiocese. This workshop is held towards the end of the previous school year.
