At Friday’s pep rally before the Raider-Slidell Tigers football game, the Student Council sponsored an assembly in the gym where the Raider football team was presented to the student body. The band played, the cheerleaders yelled, and the students participated. Several faculty members spoke to the students during the rally, but the highlight was a faculty-recruited music video of “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. Members of Student Council recruited several faculty members to participate in the video that was enthusiastically received by the students with loud applause.
