Faculty member Eugenio Hernandez used his summer months to travel to the Yucatan Peninsula with his family and they made stops at the world famous Chichen Itza and Tulum Mayan ruins. Mr. Hernandez said that the main site at Chichen Itza was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007.
