Since many of the school’s Raider Family members were severely devastated by Hurricane Isaac, the Parent-Boosters club is organizing a campaign to assist these primarily St. John the Baptist Parish residents. Ms. Connie Dantagnan, PB president, said she knows several families have lost everything to Hurricane Isaac, so the club is attempting to replace lost school uniforms, books, and other school supplies for these many Raider students. She said that the Parent Boosters will set up a table during Wednesday, September 12′s Back-to-School night and is asking for donations of no-longer-needed school uniforms. She said the Parent Boosters will also take monetary donations so these students can return to school with replenished Raider uniforms, books, and supplies. She said she will announce the table’s location at Wednesday’s Back-to-School night.
