ARHS Parents,
The Archbishop Rummel Parent Booster Club will host its final general meeting of the year on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 8:00pm immediately following Parent Teacher Conferences. We will introduce the 2008 – 2009 Officers and update you on Parent Booster activities. At this meeting we will have a $500 meeting drawing, the 50/50 raffle, and the $2500 meeting perfect attendance drawing.
We also need your help! Two major events for our Rummel community are rapidly approaching, the annual Raider Rendezvous and Auction will be held on April 26, 2008 and Project Prom will be held on May 16, 2008. Both events need our support. The Raider Rendezvous and Auction is seeking donations of wine or other liquor to be used in several prizes. Any person donating wine or liquor at the General Meeting (on April 23) will receive one free 50/50 ticket for the raffle that night.
Project Prom is in need of a few items for decorations. They are: White Paint, White Christmas Lights, Black Magic Markers, duct tape....lots of it, black and white plastic corrugated "project boards".......large sheets, large cardboard sheets, string, poster board, someone with the capability to enlarge images/clip art and print them very large and lots of volunteers. If you have these items please contact Roslyn Herrera at 382-8470 or Phyllis Barre’ at 322-2357.
It is never to too late to donate a prize for Project Prom, just send it to school and mark it Project Prom or bring it to the Parent Booster Meeting on Wednesday the 23rd. If your son has not ordered a T-Shirt and you would like an order form please email Bridget Stiebing at stiebing@bellsouth.net or call Bridget with any questions at 738-7687 or Debbie Davis at 390-5670.
