Last night Archbishop Rummel's Genesian Players' forty-third annual Geni Awards Night was held at the Rose Garden. This night is a chance for the club to recognize the many people who participated in this year's many plays performed by the club. Also, the club named their new board members who are Steven Cazenave, Matthew Martinez, Matthew Rigdon, Catlyn Louviere, and Becca Bayer. Some of the awards presented were Best Female Technician which was presented to Kati Boudreau, Best Male Technician given to Erich Lendermon, Outstanding Newcomer given to Caroline Langlois, Best Supporting Male Performance given to Jonathan Howell and Matthew Martinez, Best Supporting Female Performance given to Ashleigh Alleman and Kati Boudreau, Best Female Performance in a Leading Role given to Catlyn Louviere, Best Male Performance in a Leading Role given to Max Hughes, Most Versatile Genesian Player given to Andy Hughes and Kenny Mellore, Outstanding Female Genesian given to Kati Boudreau, and lastly Outstanding Male Genesian given to Max Hughes. However, with all the festivities it was a bitter sweet evening when the announcement of Assistant Director Mr. Jared Braniff's resignation was announced and the presentation of the Paul Fleming Scholarship Fund was announced.
