L.J. Stromeyer (' 70), father of Junior Stephen Stromeyer ('09) and Gary Ault, faculty member and father of Joshua Ault ('11), were recognized by the Louisiana State High School Athletic Association for their thirty years as high school basketball referees.  Mr. Stromeyer and Mr. Ault both agree that their thirty years as officials were very rewarding--even with the occasional disagreements by fans.  Each was presented a plaque by Commissioner Kenny Henderson of the L.H.S.A.A. at the annual basketball clinic for referees and coaches.
