The week after Thanksgiving break, the Religion department will be conducting its annual Safe Environment training in all Religion classes. This lesson will take place on either Thursday, November 29 or Friday, November 30. The purpose of the lesson is to teach our students how to recognize and report instances of sexual abuse. We are required by the Archdiocese of New Orleans to offer this to our students once a year. The following link will provide you with the materials we will be using. The links titled Grades 7-8 Safe Environment and Grades 9-12 Safe Environment will direct you to the actual lesson the teachers will be using. If you do not wish your son to take part in the lesson you may fill out the Parent Refusal Form and return it to your son?s teacher prior to the lesson and we will make arrangements for him.
