Parent Booster Information
The Parent Boosters hope that you and your
family have enjoyed a relaxing summer. The board has been
busy over the last months planning a fun-filled year of
activities for the Rummel family to enjoy. Our school year
is filled with opportunities for fellowship and fun as we
work together to support our sons, our administration,
faculty and staff here at Archbishop Rummel. The mission of
the Parent Booster Club is to promote and sustain the
Christian atmosphere at Archbishop Rummel High School. The
club promotes spiritual, moral and social growth throughout
the Rummel family through various activities including
fund-raising and service projects. The Boosters host many
events that reflect the school’s positive image in the
community.
There are five general meetings during the
school year, Sept. 19th, Nov. 7th, Feb. 13th, Mar. 19th, and
Apr. 23rd. Each meeting lasts approximately one hour and
includes an update on club events, principal’s and
president’s updates, 50/50 raffle and a $500 drawing. At the
end of the year, all families with perfect attendance at the
General meetings are entered into a $2500 Drawing.
Sandwiches, cookies and refreshments are served after each
meeting. All members’ dues must be paid by the first general
meeting. At least one parent or guardian must sign in your
son’s grade level book prior to each meeting to be eligible
for the drawings. Before the September, November, February,
and April meetings, teachers will be available for brief
conferences beginning at 6:45 pm until meeting time at
8:00pm. The March meeting will begin at 7:00pm.
Our organization sponsors or participates in
numerous events during the year. Our activities include: New
Parents’ Social, Mother-Son luncheon, Father-Son luncheon,
Grandparents’ Day, Mothers’ coffee, Rummel Recycles,
refreshments at the general meetings and other events. We
provide Faculty and Staff Christmas gifts, donate to and
participate in Project Prom, Rummel Renaissance, CCSCC Keep
Christ in Christmas billboard, Safe Home/Safe Teen Program
and the Raider Rendezvous & Auction. The Parent Boosters
also sponsor the school’s drug testing program.
