Biomed Experiences "Empathy Building" Lab
Students in Dr. Credo's Biomedicine classes have been studying Neuroanatomy and Neurological Diseases, and this week they participated in a lab which demonstrated how people with certain conditions feel when doing simple tasks. Students had to sort pills without the full use of one hand, and try to read through goggles which simulated an eye condition. Biomedicine focuses not just on science, but on the person the science is intended to help.
