BioMed Raiders and Cabrini Crescents celebrate Mock Med School Match Day
Using a lesson plan from the American Association of Medical Colleges, Dr. Brian Credo (Rummel) and Ms Kasey Dennies (Cabrini) helped their students learn why “Match Day” is the most important day of a med student’s career.
On this day, students individually open their envelopes to find out where they “matched” for Residency—and hence where they will be spending the next 3-5 years of their lives. The lesson teaches all about the wide range of medical training programs available and helps students to begin imagining what a career in BioMedicine could involve. The event was held at Drago’s, and a great time was had by all.
