Fishing Rodeo & Family Fest | August 17 & 18, 2018
Taking place each August, the annual Fishing Rodeo and Family Fest is a two day event beginning with the fishing rodeo and captain's party in Shell Beach on Friday and ending with a second day of fishing, weigh-in, and Family Fest back on the Severn campus. The Family Fest offers food, music, games for the kids and many awards for the winning fishermen. The Fishing Rodeo and Family Fest offers fishing categories for kids, teenagers, and adults so everyone may participate.
Legacy Evening | August 22, 2018
The Archbishop Rummel Development, Alumni, and Admissions Offices held a Legacy Night for prospective Raider Legacy students. Students in grades 5-7 and their families were invited to hear about the school's academic achievements from some of the Rummel Administrators as well as other parents of current Rummel Legacies. The Archbishop Rummel Ambassadors were also at the event where they hosted a scavenger hunt and other fun and games for the prospective students. Guests were treated to a social and reception afterwards.
Legacy Lunch | September 18, 2018
Each fall, the Alumni Office hosts fathers and grandfathers of current Raiders for a lunch in the Raider Room. The alumni Raider dads return to their alma mater to share their experiences with their sons and to reminisce with fellow alumni Raiders.
Raider Classic Golf Tournament | September 24, 2018
The Raider Golf Classic, organized by the Archbishop Rummel Alumni Association, takes place each fall at Chateau Golf and Country Club in Kenner. Before the shotgun start, the golfers have a full pre-game meal and hydration stations throughout the course. The day of golf is concluded with the after party in the clubhouse where raffles, awards, and another full food spread greets the golfers.
Career Day | February 5, 2019
The annual Career Day occurs each spring for the sophomore and junior classes. The students attend four 30 minute alumni presentations, choosing from career fields varying from Accounting to Journalism to Religious Orders to Counseling. The schedule of presentations is created each year depending on the alumni career fields present that particular year.
Beast Feast | March 27, 2019
The annual Alumni Association-sponsored Beast Feast occurs in the spring and attracts huge crowds of hungry Raiders, Raider Alumni, friends, and families to the Raider Band Field. From nutria tacos and wild boar to charbroiled oysters and grilled redfish, the Beast Feast satisfies everyone’s sense of adventure in dining. Alumni renew acquaintances and talk about their good years at Archbishop Rummel, while various raffles, door prizes, and sales compete with the table delicacies for everyone’s attention.
Celebrity Waiters Dinner | April 27, 2019
Held at The Terminal at Lakefront Airport, the Celebrity Waiters Dinner 2018 was an elegant red carpet event. Cocktails began at 6:00pm with the Raider Jazz Band providing the entertainment. Local and Raider community celebrities assembled 10 person tables to host the tip competition. Silent auction items, raffles, and a live auction highlighted the event. All money raised will go to benefit the students of Archbishop Rummel High School.
Crawfish Cookoff | May 11, 2019
Raider Pride Nights | Various
The Alumni Association hosts a series of Raider Pride Nights throughout the year as a way to bring alumni together and to support local alumni businesses. Hosted at local alumni restaurants and bars, the event typically features a school and athletic update from the school administration and coaches. Check the alumni calendar for dates throughout the year.
