Friday, November 2, we hosted our first Experience Raider Pride Night for prospective students. As students arrived, they began the night in the gym where they completed engineering activities with Coach Sanders. Next, our Raider Student Council President Zach Smith '19 welcomed the students and led them in prayer.
Then students were divided into groups. Led by Student Council members, the groups raced around the Raider Campus to complete scavenger hunt tasks that included visiting areas such as classrooms, locker rooms, the Band Field, and the West Campus. The two teams who completed all the tasks first were announced the winners.
Once the scavenger hunt was complete, everyone gathered in the Raider Gym to regroup and pray before leaving for Laser Tag. At Laser Tag, everyone was treated to pizza, drinks, games, and fun.
The night ended back on the Raider Campus where Student Council members led the future Raiders in the Fight Song a few times before saying goodbye.
We would like to say a special thank you to the Raider Student Council, Student Council moderator Ms. Kerrie Hutchinson, and all the faculty members who made this night so successful!
We hope to see these future Raiders back on campus soon!
