Congratulations to Archbishop Rummel High School's Genesian Theatre Director Ms. Carol Eshleman for being named Rivertown Theatres' Person of the Year! Ms. Eshleman received the honor at a ceremony in late January. Way to go, Ms. Esh!
Congratulations to seniors Michael Chepolis and Luke Hightower for being named National Merit Finalists! Michael and Luke were selected from a nationwide pool of 16,000 Semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors.
Now that they have been named Finalists, Michael and Luke will have the opportunity to compete for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million to be awarded later this spring. Merit Scholar designees are selected on the basis of their skills, accomplishments and potential for success in college.
Congratulations to senior Spencer Roques who earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Spencer made his rank of Eagle Scout by completing his project to build a cabinet in the band building with the help of fellow Raiders: Connor Farbe '19, Justin Connor '18, Bradley Este '18, Matthew Tetlow '19, Seth Roques '21.
Congratulations to junior Kade Rivera for being named to the 9-5A Coaches All-District Team for basketball! Way to go, Kade!
Congratulations to Philip Maier '20, who reigned as the 94th King of the Children’s Carnival Ball held at the Napoleon Ballroom of The Sheraton Hotel on February 10, 2019.
