Track & Field Indoor
The Raider Track & Field Team competed in the LSU Qualifier this past weekend and had an outstanding showing. The Raiders established many personal bests and had one new school record set. Top performances were:
Jermie Walker
60m Dash - Fifth overall, School Record
400m Dash - Fourth fastest time in the state
John Paul Spera
800m Run - New indoor personal record, ranked top 20 in the state
Alex Bienvenu
1600m Run - Currently ranked top 25 in the state
Caleb Powell
60m Dash - New personal record, ranked top 25 in the state
400m Dash - New personal record
Dwan Trufant
Long Jump - New indoor personal record, ranked top 25 in the state
Next up for the Track & Field Team will be the LSU Last Chance Qualifier, next Saturday at the Carl Maddox Field House.
