Right to Life Field Trip
At the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge, over 30 ARHS students participated in the Youth Leadership Summit sponsored by Louisiana Right to Life.
Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry and Speaker of the House Phillip Devillier were two of the featured speakers in addition to Senator Bill Cassidy.
Students joined more than 200 others from around the state to learn what it means to be pro-life, current issues after the defeat of Roe v Wade, how to support unborn babies, moms, and the vulnerable.
The conference was also supported by the Louisiana Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The conference will help our pro-life club, Raiders for Life, meaningfully expand what we do during October, which is Respect Life Month.
