Robotics Team Competes in Northshore Knockout Tourney
The Raider Robotics team placed third and competed in the semifinal round of the Northshore Knockout Tourney in Mandeville on July 19-20th. The Raiders competed against 30 teams at Mandeville and gave their best performance yet in a FIRST Robotics competition. The Raider team was the only catholic school in this elite group of robots
Drivers of the robot were seniors Brandon Nguyen and William Salvaggio and newcomers Robbie Chong and Rileigh Welsted. The mechanical engineers were Kolby and Kyle Torres. And the Field Managers were Alyssa Joy, Dominic Bua, and Brian Weidenbacher.
Raider Robotics will compete again in the Red Stick Rumble at Denham springs in late September. Congrats to the team and good luck in September.
