Shell Visits Science Department
On Friday, January 13, 2023, Shell representatives Steven Campbell and Marty Duhon brought the Distillation Training Unit that Shell Norco uses as part of their training to operators. Students from various classes in our science department learned how different configurations of atoms in molecules lead to different boiling points and how this difference in boiling points can be used to separate chemicals.
