Ultimate Undefeated Division Champs
Congratulations to the Raider Ultimate team, who became undefeated, 2017 New Orleans Division Champions this past Saturday at City Park. Archbishop Rummel will represent the New Orleans Division's number one seed in the state semifinals and state championship Sunday, May 7, at Catholic High School of Baton Rouge.
On the way to victory, the Raiders defeated Shaw, Ben Franklin, Vandebilt Catholic, and Jesuit High School by respective scores of 11 -1, 11-3, 11-0, and 10-6. The Raiders' success was due in large part to their unrelenting defense, superior throws, and well-executed routes. We would like to recognize the following young men for their dedication to their training and for how admirably they have represented our school all year long: Gregory Plaia, Evan Thomason, Troy Hankins, Ryan Powers, Jason Manning, Ross Incardona, Marty Gantner, Nicholas Wright, Ben Browning, Blake Tillman, Himantha Wijetunge, Maddux Meariman, Gabriel Wright, Kyle LeRouge, Jonathan Manning, Sean Majeau, Gavin O'Brien, James Guillot, and Tristan Boudreau. Come out and support the Raiders at the State Semifinals and State Championship Sunday, May 7, at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge from 3pm to 8pm.
