Investing in the Future.

Somebody covered you. A man you never met, who never asked for the credit, made sure 1901 Severn was still standing when you walked in. Rummel put over a million dollars behind its families last year on exactly that arrangement. Your turn is the only part left.

One gift. Or twelve small ones.

Both roads reach the Raider Club. Pick the one that fits how you actually manage money, not the one that sounds more impressive.

Give it once

A single gift of $1,000 or more enters you in the Raider Club for the year and gets your card in hand before the next home game. This is the simplest route, and for a gift made from a bonus, a sale, or a year that went well, it is the right one.

Give it monthly

One hundred dollars a month reaches the same $1,000 threshold and carries the same membership. It costs less to feel, it renews itself, and it gives the school something a single gift cannot: a number it can count on when it builds next year’s budget.

Give a thousand. Walk in free after that.

Every donor at $1,000 and above is in the Raider Club. The card is digital, it lives in your phone beside your boarding passes, and it opens the home gates for two all year.

Two In, Every District Game

Complimentary admission for two to all home varsity district games. Playoffs are the one exception, because those gates are not the school’s to give away.

Two In, Anything on Campus

Free admission for two to every game hosted on the Rummel campus, across every sport and level. Show the card and keep walking.

The Raider Club Social

Members only, on campus

The one night on the school calendar where a 1966 graduate, a current parent, and the company that sponsors the golf tournament end up at the same table.

Invitations go to every member in good standing, at the email address the school has on file for you.

Leave your mark. Literally.

The “Walk of Pride” runs from the Severn parking area by the gym, past the marble statue of Christ the Good Shepherd the alumni priests gave, through the Leadership Entrance and onto campus. It is paved in engraved brick, and one of them can be yours.

The Brick Campaign

Some of them read like a class note. Some read like a father talking to a son. All of them are still there.

Thank God Almighty, I’m a Raider. Class of 1966.

No form can do this part. So call us.

A named scholarship, a bequest, a gift of stock or property, or a company match all start with a conversation rather than a checkout page. The Department of Development will take it from there.

The school’s secure form takes a card or a bank draft, one time or monthly, and sends the receipt straight to your inbox. Recurring gifts can be changed or stopped by you at any time without calling anyone.

Open the giving form

Make it payable to Archbishop Rummel High School and send it to the Department of Development, 1901 Severn Avenue, Metairie, LA 70001. If the gift is for a particular fund or in memory of someone, write that in the memo line and it will be directed and acknowledged that way.

Many employers match an employee’s gift to a school, and a good number match retirees and spouses too. Send us your company’s matching gift form, or the portal link, and the Development office completes the school’s half. A $500 gift becomes $1,000 and can carry you into the Raider Club.

An endowed scholarship starts at $50,000 and a Full Tuition Scholarship at $250,000. The principal is invested and never spent, so the fund sends a Raider to school every year under the name you choose. This one starts with an email, not a form.

How endowed funds work

A bequest, a beneficiary designation, a charitable gift annuity, appreciated property, or a qualified charitable distribution from an IRA. Each has different tax consequences and none of them should be decided off a web page. It begins with a conversation with the Head of School or the Director of Advancement.
