There is truly something for everyone at Archbishop Rummel High School.
Matthew Caire ’03 · Head of School
Since 1962 we have been forming young men in the Lasallian traditions of faith, community, and service. As a graduate of the class of 2003, I have spent the entirety of my career in education in the hallowed halls of 1901 Severn Avenue. I can attest to the rigor of our coursework, the dedication of our faculty, and the endless opportunities for our young men. A Rummel education provides all the tools necessary to be successful in whatever field the Lord is calling you to, and it also provides the connections necessary to navigate any industry.
Our Catholic faith is central to all that we do here and is evidenced by our young men and the graduates who call Rummel home. Over the last sixty years we have produced more vocations to the priesthood than any school in the metro area. It is not just religious life that we can help you discover. We provide the formation necessary to help our young men discern God’s will for their lives, and the guidance necessary to see that through.
I have spent the entirety of my career in education in the hallowed halls of 1901 Severn Avenue.
Located in the heart of Metairie, our campus of more than twenty acres provides ample space for our young men to pursue whatever they desire. With full sized football, soccer, and baseball fields, an all weather turf field, an indoor baseball facility, robotics and engineering labs, a gymnasium, a band building, and a wrestling building, we are able to accommodate multiple sports and activities all at once, all on our campus. We offer over fifty clubs, sports, and organizations, and if we do not have what you are looking for we give you the tools and the opportunity to form your own. We have recently added a lacrosse team, and this fall will begin a new pickleball club.
