Marching Band
A competitive ensemble on the LMEA marching circuit, on the field at every Raider football game, and on the parade routes across New Orleans every Carnival season.
Fall ›Symphonic Band
Competes at the LMEA symphonic band festival, plays the Christmas and spring concerts, and sends Raiders to the District VI and All State Honor Bands every year.
Winter and spring ›Jazz Band
Small ensemble, big sound. The Raider Jazz Band opens in the fall and plays school events and community gigs across the city all year long.
All year ›Chapellette Dance Team
Founded in 1966 and danced by students of Archbishop Chapelle High School. The Chapellettes take the field at Raider football games and parades, and compete beside the band across Louisiana.

Raider Band Road Trip and Chapellette Bound
Come experience the Raider Band. Middle school band students come to a Rummel football game, perform with the Raider Band and the Chapellettes, and find out what it means to be a Raider Band member. This year it is at Joe Yenni Stadium.
LMEA District VI Marching Festival
Monday at Archbishop Shaw, the Raider Band and the Chapellettes perform their 2026 competition show, “Meet Me at the Beach.”
Spartan Invitational
The Raider Band and the Chapellettes take “Meet Me at the Beach” to East Ascension High School in Gonzales for a full Saturday of competing bands.
LMEA State Marching Championships
