Information for Prospective Students

All incoming 8th graders must complete TWO applications:

1.
Archbishop Rummel Online Application

If you haven't completed the Archbishop Rummel online application, click HERE to apply. This application requires a $30 fee. This fee is your son's application fee, and you will not have to pay it again when he takes the High School Placement Test in January.

2. Archdiocesan Application (paper application) *Available here.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans requires all new incoming 8th graders to complete a paper application. If your son attends a Catholic elementary school, his school will give him this paper application. Catholic elementary schools will also send his completed form to us.

If your son does not attend a Catholic elementary school, you may print it yourself when the application becomes available. Please print it, complete it, and either scan and email or bring it to Archbishop Rummel High School as soon as possible.

Catholic elementary schools will send us their students' school records. Parents/Guardians are responsible for sending personal documents to us such as copies of your son's birth certificate, social security card, and immunizations.

All applicants will need to report to our campus for the High School Placement Test at 8:00 AM, Date: January 9, 2021.
