Admissions Policy
Admission to Archbishop Rummel High School is open to applicants who have indicated their ability to follow the course of studies provided by Archbishop Rummel High School and whose conduct has been such to recommend them.

All incoming students: Archbishop Rummel Online Applications Due: Additionally, all applicants must complete the Archbishop Rummel High School application on the school’s website.  This must be done online here.

Incoming 8th graders: All prospective eighth graders who currently attend an Archdiocesan elementary or middle school wishing to apply for admission, must submit a completed Archdiocesan Application. The completed application form must be returned to the applicant’s grammar school for a transcript of grades.

All applicants for initial admission are selected according to evaluation of cumulative records,  standardized test scores from elementary schools, and entrance test scores. Applicants must meet several requirements including, but not limited to, the following: satisfactory conduct and effort grades,  passing all subjects, and favorable recommendations from principals of previous schools (if requested by Archbishop Rummel).

Upperclassmen transfers: Applications for enrollment in grades higher than ninth are based on openings available and on Archbishop Rummel’s ability to fit the student into the school’s curriculum. Applicants should contact the admissions office before applying for grades 10th or 11th. All such applicants require an interview with Administrators. Senior transfer students are not accepted into Archbishop Rummel High School.

Students previously asked to withdraw or expelled from Archbishop Rummel High School or any other high school will not be accepted into Archbishop Rummel High School.
