Return to Severn
Occurring the Friday before the Homecoming football game each year, Return to Severn features a pep rally, food, a live band, games for the kids, and a two story bonfire.  Taking place each year on the band field and in the senior cage, the event sees hundreds of alumni, current students, families, and friends coming together to see the Homecoming court presented, football team, Raider Cheerleaders, band, and Chapellettes.  The Hall of Fame members are presented and the bonfire is lit as the nighttime falls on the Raider Campus.  The Return to Seven is followed by the Homecoming football game the next day.

Mother/Son Mass and Luncheon
Mothers and sons attend a special Mass and luncheon at the Airport New Orleans Hilton Hotel.  The morning begins with Mass and includes special readings to highlight the occasion.  After Mass, Raider moms and sons enjoy a special luncheon prepared by the hotel.  There is the Parade of Prizes area to take chances and a photographer to capture that special bond between Raider mother and son.

Celebrity Waiters Dinner
The annual Celebrity Waiters Dinner is held at the Hilton New Orleans Airport Hotel with a VIP entrance through the courtyard.  Guests are greeted by Raider “paparazzi” before taking  formal pictures.  When the program begins, an emcee introduces each celebrity to the huge audience.  At evening’s end, one lucky table has the top tippers for the evening.  The evening is  complete with live and silent auction items, Parade of Prize raffles, celebrity waiters, adult volunteers, and very excited students!

Father/Son Raider Road Rally
The father/son teams are sent out seeking certain items and completing tasks for the competition.  They must verify each task with a photo and present their faithful “R” in every picture.  Jefferson Parish is in full force with Raider Pride. When the teams return to the Raider Room there is a lot of camaraderie, laughter and delicious food being shared.  Once the tallies are totaled and verified a cash prize is awarded to the victorious team.

Grandparents Days
Five Grandparent Days are held throughout the year celebrating the grandson/grandparent relationship.  The Grandparent Days are held by grade level in the Raider Room.  The day begins with a Mass and ends with food, discussion, and time well spent between grandparents and grandsons.
