Cross Country
Cross Country is a team-oriented sport. Comprised of junior-high, junior varsity, and Varsity squads, Raider Cross Country competes against area high schools in and around Southern Louisiana from September to mid-November. The top-seven runners at the end of each week will compete in the Varsity race (3 miles), and the remaining runners not in junior-high will compete in the JV race (also 3 miles). The junior-high squad competes in races two-miles in length. Raider Cross Country is for everybody; all students are welcome to come out and run! Following the Cross Country season, many athletes compete on the Track and Field Team. The Cross Country team is coached by Mr. Howie Inman.
